Sushi is one of the healthier food options we can get for takeout. It also tastes amazing.

It does take some getting used to raw fish at first, but add some soy sauce and Wasabi and now we are talking!

Sushi isn’t all about raw fish either.

  • Noodles
  • Teriyaki
  • Rolls
  • Udon
  • Miso soup
  • Poke bowl

A great alternative to sushi rolls and noodle dishes is the Poke bowl.

Poke is similar to sushi. It’s just all mixed together in a bowl. Sidenote it is Hawaiian, not Japanese.

Sushi and poke are great fresh, so eat it all up. Rice isn’t the best the next day.

Rolls and fish are not the best even after a few hours in the fridge, so be cautious 10-20 pieces is usually good for one person, that’s 1-3 rolls.

Fast Food

We can’t seem to get enough of fast food. Now we are even getting fast food delivered right to our doors. Remember when you didn’t have a car and McDonald’s refused you service through the takeout window. Well, those days have come and gone.

Some of our local favorites like McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, KFC, and Del Taco are now even more accessible. Now we don’t even need to put pants on to get our favorites.

Popular fast-food restaurants:

  • McDonald’s
  • KFC
  • Wendy’s
  • Del Taco
  • Taco Bell
  • Burger King
  • In N Out
  • White Castle
  • A&W

Best fast-food takeout meals:

  • Burgers
  • Tacos
  • Fries
  • Shakes
  • Soda
  • Fried Chicken

These foods aren’t as good as when ordering at the drive-thru window or eating in but when you’re ordering fast food, you aren’t expecting a five-star meal.

We do like fast-food restaurants for their consistency and reliability. You get the same burger, fries, and soda every time you order.

Best food delivery apps

  • UberEats
  • DoorDash
  • GrubHub
  • Postmates
  • Skip The Dishes
  • Foodora

These are just a few of the many different apps out there. Depending on your location, different apps are going to be more or less popular. Someone in California might like Doordash compared to someone in New York who may like UberEats.

The apps are more or less the same and it really comes down to more of a personal preference than one being better than the rest.
